HELSH General Consulting is a Zambian multidisciplinary consulting business delivering integrated solutions in social development, water and environmental management, research, health and capacity building.

We support organisations to understand community needs, design responsive programmes and strengthen implementation. Our work combines technical analysis with participatory methods, so recommendations reflect both the evidence and the people programmes are intended to serve.

Established in 2018, HELSH draws on a network of 50 associates to assemble teams around each assignment. We translate complex issues into practical decisions, with close client engagement and consistent technical quality assurance.

Baseline study for the Southern Africa Food and Economic Empowerment Programme (SAFEE), supporting We Effect and PPHPZ with evidence to inform programme implementation and monitoring.

Assignment focus

Baseline assessment of programme indicators, rightsholder conditions and the operating context, drawing on quantitative and qualitative research.

ENVIRONMENTAL & SOCIAL ASSESSMENT · KABWE

Farm 47 environmental and social impact assessment

Joint venture with BGE to conduct an environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA) for Farm 47 in Kabwe, Zambia.

Gender and social inclusion assessment, training & coaching

Training needs assessment followed by gender and social inclusion training and coaching for 16 public, private and NGO sector organisations in Zambia.
